CANDY CANE READY!!!!

 carissime, ecco come ho confezionato i miei 'bastoncini', ho cercato di curare la presentazione poichè ho pensato che sarebbe anche una buona idea regalare queste decorazioni ad un amica , quindi carta vecchia e pizzi vecchi di carta ed ecco qui un display molto vintage e decorativo. I mie candy cane sono su Etsy ora...e si propongono tre per ogni confezione.

THINKING ON XMAS # two

...ho terminato i segnaposti commissionatomi e sto preparando altri bastoncini natalizi che saranno anche molto decorativi su una ghirlanda o sul nostro albero nonchè segnaposto ovviamente.

..decisamente più primitive poichè tinti e con il campanellino bello arruginito. Il nastrino..beh questo è vecchio nastro di seta acquistato in un antique market  a Denver..vi piacciono?? Li assemblerò a tre per tre in una confezione molto decorativa che vi presenterò in seguito.
Just finished Xmas sticks for  lady Adele and know I decided to make something different for you if you like. I made them very primitive with coffee and I added those lovely rusty bells, a very sweet off white silk ribbon bought in an antique in Denver last year..what do you think? Aren't they so sweet indeed? SOMETHING DIFFERENT

 Hello my dears today I want to show you how enjoyed myself so much using my Christmas Ball e-pattern finishing the in a different way.

 You remember my wood thread winders??? of course you do..well I thought it was agood idea use them as Christmas ornaments , so I stitched some of my Christmas ball designs and I glue them on ..

 Carissime, oggi vi propongo qualcosa di simpatico, avrete in mente le ultime mie Christmas ball e-pattern...ho pensato che sarebbero state carine inserite sui miei Thread winders creando degli ornamenti o dei deliziosi regalini ad un'amica cara. Così ne ho ricamate alcune e le ho semplicemente incollate al manufatto di legno ed occole qui....non sono davvero simpatiche? CYPRUS !!!

 Care amiche eccomi di ritorno dal nostro splendido viaggio a Cipro!!!
Hello my dear friends I'm just back from Cyprus ..a fantastic trip!|!!

 Una vacanza davvero indimenticabile a contatto con la cultura passata, un mondo pieno di 'colori non colori', dove si respira tradizione e cultura. Lovely soft colors and such old tradition...how couldn't be inspired by those mosaics???

 Come non perdersi in questi paesaggi?? ..e come non ispirarsi con gli antichi mosaici realizzati almeno 3000 anni fa....ci pensate? ..completely immersed in tradition and history!

 Il clima eccezionale di questa stagione ci ha permesso di visitare tranquillamente tutto quello che ci eravamo programmati e siamo riusciti anche a farci un bagno nell'azzurro mediterraneo dove Aphrodite ha visto la luce!
Le foto parlano davvero da sole!!!
The exceptional climate of this season has allowed us to easily visit all that we had planned and we also managed to take a bath in the blue Mediterranean where Aphrodite has seen the light!

ACORN

Realizzai questo piccolo disegno qualche anno fa in occasione del primo salone di Formigine Fili Senza Tempo. Qualcuno di voi lo avrà già, altre invece no, abbiate pazienza chi già lo possiede, magari non lo avete ancora ricamato e adesso vi ho stimolato un pò. Ne ho confezionato un libricino porta aghi di quelli che non possono mancare nel nostro cestino porta lavoro e nella borsetta in viaggio. Proprio come capita spesso a me , e domani mi capiterà di nuovo poichè vado in vacanza in Grecia per qualche giorno con il mio caro DH!!!! vi lascio quindi al lavoro amiche mie e mi raccomando ricamate in mia assenza...mi mancherete!!
I made that little desing long time ago for a show in Modena , it was a freebie for that occasion and  I've never put tin on the blog. So I decided to do it today before leaving  to Greece for a few days with my DH!! Enjoy those tiny acorns, see you next week..until next time my friends
