HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

..e anche quest'anno se ne va, bello o brutto che sia stato è ormai stato. Sono grata al 2012.  Le fiere , le classi, i saloni, i luoghi dove ho potuto conoscere persone speciali sono stati tanti e, ripassando con la mente ogni incontro, continuo a pensare a quanto ho avuto e imparato da tutte le persone che ho incontrato. Un grande grazie a voi miei followers che mi seguite davvero ovunque e numerosissime: di persona o con la mente e soprattutto con il cuore. Il mio lavoro mi soddisfa così tanto anche grazie alle vostre conferme, i vostri messaggi e commenti i vostri regali che mi giungono puntuali e inaspettati nelle  ricorrenze.
Auguro a tutti un anno buono e sereno e ricco di creatività, voi tutte sapete quanto essa appaghi in un mondo così come è il nostro di adesso. FELICE 2013!!
 .. and he goes, good or bad 2012  now is over. I am grateful to this year. The fairs, shows, the places where I 've been ..I knew many special people, I keep thinking about what I had and learned from all of them  I met. A big thank  to my followers who follow me really everywhere: in person or mind, and especially with their heart. My work gives me such wonderfull satisfaction  thanks to your confirmation, your messages and comments and  your gifts you gently send to me.

STRAWBERRIES AND CARROTS

Buongiorno carissime spero  che abbiate passato un felice Natale in famiglia in salute e serenità. Il Natale riunisce tutti e anche noi ci siamo ritrovati assieme anche con i cari più lontani..,  è stato veramente bellissimo. Durante queste serate davanti al camino in compagnia del mio DH e dei nostri due gatti pestiferi ho sferruzzato alla grande ed ho iniziato una sciarpa con della lana che avevo in casa, è di un colore insolito ed originlae: un melange di grigio e rosso/arancio davvero unico. Ma si sa, sferruzzare dava fastidio al maritino il quale non sopporta il tintinnìo dei ferri nemmeno quelli di legno che davvero ...non sono affatto rumorosi, forse è il movimento meccanico del passare il filo sull'ago..mah!! sta di fatto che ho accantonato il lavoro a maglia e ho recuperato, nei meandri del mio armadio di stoffe, del tessuto di velluto millerighe a fiori e dell'altro in lana scozzese. Sono stoffe che ho acquistato tempo fa in un viaggio in Germania, di quelle della serie' le prendo e le metto li..prima o poi le userò'. Infatti eccole utilizzate per queste deliziose fragole e appetitose carote.

Hello my dear friends, I hope you spent a happy Christmas day with your family in peace and love. I had a wonderfull Christmas too, my son was back from Wales and all the family was gathered finally even for few days.
,,and I've some free time to make those lovely carrots and strawberries. I bought that fabric long time ago in Germany and I just put it away ..during those very cold evenings in front of the fire I decided to use it and I realized those lovely pincushions. Aren't thet so sweet? One is a corduroy with tiny bouquets and the other is scottish wool, so nice warm colors! I've some fabric left and if you're interested in it please just write me or go on my etsy shop!!

MY SHOWROOM

Carissime, oggi desidero  presentarvi la mia showroom vestita a festa. Dall'armadio che vedete ho estratto alcuni  modelli dei miei schemi di Natale, così ho addobbato questo mio angolo di casa e oggi  vi posso mostrare alcune foto. Questa è la mia showroom e sono felice di presentarvela per la prima volta dopo che molte ricamatrici me lo hanno ripetutamente domandato. Un giorno aprirò l'armadio così vi mostrerò il suo interno... devo dire...particolarmente interessante..per noi ricamatrici.Felice ricamo e felice addobbo mie care!
