Carissime è arrivato davvero il momento dei preparativi per la nostra festa dell'anno preferita. PAPER DOLL

Carissime, in questi giorni ho lavorato a queste deliziose paper dolls. Da tempo avevo salvato le immagini di queste dolcissima bimba vittoriana di The Graphic Fairy, una vecchia camicetta in lino e un pezzetto di lenzuolo vecchio  hanno dato il tocco finale.  Saranno dei regali di Natale molto originali non trovate?
My dear friends I saved those lovely victorian girl face from The Graphic Fairy long time ago, thinking on making some paper dolls, with scraps of a old french shirt and sheet I made  the dress, aren't they sweet? I just love them, they'll be perfect as an original Christmas gift..until next time my dears and please  stay warm and creative...                  XXX NIKY

PAPER and CROCHET

 Voi sapete che la sera non la dedico al ricamo poichè i miei occhi non sono più quelli di una volta ma anche perchè mi piace passare del tempo con altri tipi di creatività. Così unendo la mia passione per la carta  e le figurine vecchie e aggiungendo del crochet ho realizzato questi medaglioni. Starebbero benissimo appesi ad un vecchio armadio in noce oppure ad una finestra o alla maniglia di una porta!

..non sono così dolci e delicate queste figure? Il medaglione più grande misura circa 8cm di diametro e il più piccolo 6. Mi hanno ispirato le incantevoli opere barocche siciliane che ho ammirato la settimana scorsa durante il nostro viaggio, mi han riportato indietro nel tempo e hanno dato una ulteriore spinta alla mia creatività! questi medaglioni li potete trovare su ETSY!

Hello my dear friends, just back form Sicily and with lot of inspirations!!! ..everybody knows how I like to deal with paper and crochet, so I made those lovely medallions inspired by the baroque style that I saw in Sicily last week!! Aren't they gorgeous? So elegant indeed! They are just perfect on a old drawer or on a window in the house. The biggest measures approx 8cm of diameter and the smaller 6 cm . Hello my dear friends, first of all I want to thank you so much for your subscription of my new Christmas Contest, you're already more then 25 stitchers and the contest is still open so please do not hesitate to write me if you want to be part of the group.
..and I want to talk a little bit more about my Xmas pdf TAGS! They're six wonderfull  vintage Christmas images that I altereted with my graphic programme and they're just pefect to use quickly, . if you want you have just to go here and get them, print them and use!
I made mine as you can see from the pictures adding a nice string and a little bit of glitter to get a stronger Xmas looking. Aren't they so sweet?


Carissime innanzi tutto grazie a tutte per far parte così numerose al mio nuovo Contest Natalizio, al momento siete già più di 25 e naturalmente l'iscrizione è sempre aperta, prcui non esitate a scrivermi una mail per maggiori informazioni.
Desidero poi parlarvi un attimo delle mie nuove etichette natalizie dal gusto un pò retrò. Ho recuperto queste immagini da vecchie cartoline trovate nei vari mercatini dell'antiquariato, usando il mio programma di grafica le ho alterate, invecchiate e ci ho aggiunto le varie scritte necessarie quindi le ho aggiunte alle etichette che ho disegnato ed eccole pronte per voi. 2013 CHRISTMAS CONTEST

 My dear friends are you ready for a Christmas Contest? I designed that very sweet exclusive angel for you! Partecipate is very simply: write me to get the chart( chart will come very quickly by email) and stitch and finish it in any way you like then send me the picture , I'll put a number on it and at the end of the contest I'll make the draw! Deadline to send the picture is december 20th. The prize is ready for you but I do not want to tell you about..it's a surprise!!!  Carissime, siete pronte per un veloce e simpatico Contest  Natalizio? Ecco cosa dovete fare: ho disegnato questo grazioso angioletto in esclusiva per l'occasione , scrivetemi una mail per avere il suo schema , lo ricamerete e lo confezionerete nel modo che più vi piace poi mi manderete la foto del vostro manufatto. Io la numererò ed effettuerò un 'estrazione che determinerà il vincitore di questo contest! Il premio??? beh questo è una sorpresa. Il termine massimo di consegna foto è il 20 dicembre, il 21 avverrà l'estrazione e il premio verrà inviato subito tramite mail......allora siete pronte?? vi aspetto numerose a giocare con me....
