FOUR PINCUSHIONS

Ecco finalmente finiti i miei puntaspilli. Questo disegno si intitola semplicemente:" Four Pincushions". Li ho realizzati su lino Weeks Dye work 'gingham' ma si possono ricamare su qualsiasi tipo di lino neutro tinto nel caffè per ottenere la consueta aria 'invecchiata'.

I finally finished my new desing, I called it simply:"Four Pincushions". I stitched them on ' 28ct Gingham Weeks Dye Works linen but you can do it in any kind of natural linen coffee dyed after stitched for getting an old age look. Easy and quickly to make and needfull too this pattern is coming with four designs and finishing instructions. If you interested in it please contact me.

Un curioso pappagallo si intravede attraverso una gabbia dorata...ecco il terzo disegno della serie di quattro schemi per puntaspilli. Sto lavorando al quarto e spero di potervelo mostrare nei prossimi giorni.

A curious parrot you can see throught the gilged cage..that's the third pincushion desing. I'm working on the fourth and I hope to show it in the very next few days.

Eccomi di ritorno da Macugnaga per la fiera di San Bernardo, tempo non dei migliori, ma molta gente interessata ai miei ricami e articoli di artigianato di notevole interesse.

Sono otto anni che partecipo a questa fiera, nel mio primo anno di frequenza avevo vinto il primo premio come miglior tavolo meglio allestito e con gli oggetti più originali, immaginatevi la mia sorpresa e gioia nel ricevere dopo otto anni un secondo PRIMO PREMIO !

Il piatto decorato a mano che vedete nella foto è quello che ho avuto l'onore di ricevere.

Back from Macugnaga san Bernardo fair, bad weather but lot of lovely people really interested in my stitching.I've been attending this market for eight years, the fisrt year I got the first prize as the best exhibitor and now, after eight years, I got it again!!!! I'm very proud of that.The decorated plate pictured is the prize that I've been honorated to receive.

MACUGNAGA 2009 SAN BERNARDO FAIR.

Ciao a tutte, solo un veloce post per dirvi che oggi e domani sarò a Macugnaga alla fiera di San Bernardo. Se qualcuno di voi volesse venirmi a trovare sarebbe davvero fantastico...

Just a quick note to tell you that I'm leaving for San Bernardo fair in Macugnaga, anybody would like to come and visit me? it would be fantastic.!

Old style pincushions.

Sempre ispirata dagli antichi samplers oalndesi, sto realizzando una serie di disegni per puntaspilli.
Questi sono i primi due, ho aggiunto della passamaneria tinta a mano nel caffè così come di consueto faccio con il lavoro una volta ricamato.

I'm still inspired by duch samplers saw in Goes and Antwerpen museums, so i designed some new. Those are two pincushions first of a serie of four, I sewed coffee dyed ric rac as usually do with all my works after stitched.

PEACOCK SEWING BAG

Ispirata dagli antichi sampler olandesi ho disegnato una nuova sewing bag con dei simpatici pavoni, su lino Week dye work e con filati dmc . Ho opportunamente invecchiato il ricamo per dargli il mio consueto stile 'primitivo'.
Anche questo disegno si aggiunge alla mia collezione, chi ne fosse interessato mi può scrivere alla mia e-mail.

Inspired by antiques duch samplers I designed a new sewing bag on Weeks dye work linen and dmc threads.
I dyed everything with coffee for getting an aged look. If somebody is interested in this design please write me.
