Velocissimi e di grande effetto, ho finito questi ricami uno di Blackbird e l'altro estratto da Wild Rose di Carriagehouse. Sono piccolissime borsine che racchiudono tutto quello che desiderate, io ci ho riposto dei vecchi utensili da ricamo nonchè le nostre amate forbicine. Si possono anche utilizzare per portare con se un lavoro di piccole dimensioni quando si è in viaggio.

Oggi vi presento un vecchio lavoro eseguito qualche anno fa. Mi piace perchè ispira freschezza e semplicità come molti dei disegni di Drawn Thread. Ho cucito il nastro a rouche attorno usandone uno di organza per non appesantire il lavoro, all'interno ci ho messo della lavanda come al solito, per molto tempo è rimasto appeso sulla porta del salotto, poi l'ho regalato a mia sorella che ne ha fatto tesoro.

I'm showing you a very old work made some years ago. I like it for his simply design and cool colors. I finished it as a little pillow with lavender and it stayed long time on my livingroom door until my sister saw it and took it for her home. She's keeping it as a treasure.

Dopo mesi di sole e anche di caldo, finalmente piove sul Lago Maggiore, a dir la verità con due giorni di acqua sento già la nostalgia del sole, in ogni caso la pioggia mi ha costretta a casa un pomeriggio intero, ed io l'ho reso redditizio ricamando e confezionando questa borsina su vecchissimo disegno Good huswife.

Anyway, I should stay home yesterday afternoon and made this little sweet bag with a very old Goodhuswife chart. It was a very busy afternoon!!

Carriagehousesamplings Stockings.

Sfogliando tra le mie fotografie ho recuperato le calze di Carriagehousesamplings. Essendo calze ricordano forse un pò il periodo natalizio, ma in realtà i disegni non sono affatto riguardanti il Natale,eccetto quella con le stelline forse, e ho pensato di proporvele. Il lavoro è stato immenso anche perchè le ho eseguite su lino 40ct come lo schema richiedeva,comunque sono dei veri pezzi unici di ricamo. Credo siano state tra i lavori più impegnativi che abbia ricamato.

They're stockings so they can remind you Christmas, but the designs are not about Christmas , except the one with the stars maybe, so I'm glad to show them and share with you these big work, probably the biggest one done by me.......until now....!!!!

Ok, voi direte "ma oggi ce l'hai con Sheepish design!!!" Ebbene sì, mi sembra che questo porta aghi sempre su suo disegno si sposi bene con il scissor fob che ho appena postato.
