LIKE A CANDY

Spero piacciano anche a voi questi'caramelloni' puntaspilli. Li potrete usare anche come decorazione per l'albero di Natale o semplicemente come ho fatto io, mettendoli in un cesto come fossero vere caramelle. Il disegno che ho ideato è semplice e la consueata finitura 'primitive' ne da il tocco finale.

I hope you like those 'candy-pincushions'. You can use them also as Christmas ornaments or keeping them in a basket just like real candy! I stitched them on 32 natural linen coffee dyed after stitched. They measure 8"x2", sweet scrap fabric for finishing.This is my last primitive design one more to my collection.

BIRDS HEART

Adoro i cuori, mi piace la loro forma, la loro dolcezza il loro significato. Eccovi quindi un nuovo disegno da realizzare a forma di cuore. Nel più consueto stile primitive che mi caratterizza. Vi ho messo della lavanda all'interno e potrà essere utile come profuma ambiente. I toni sono quelli dei marroni e il lino è un32 ct grezzo .Un nuovo disegno da aggiungere alla mia collezione.

I love hearts, I just love them their shapes, their meaning. So I decided to make a design for that Primitive heart. On brown palette and 32 raw linen. I put lavender inside, so sweet. This's one of my new designs,hope you like it!

BOOKMARK ANTIQUE

Il mio ultimo disegno è dedicato a chi come me ama la lettura. Ho pensato che sarebbe stato carino proporre dei disegni per la realizzazione di questo oggetto così utile. Lo schema si presenta con tre disegni dal gusto 'vintage' ricamati su lino bianco tinto nel caffè come sono solita fare per ottenere un effetto antichizzato .Le istruzioni che ho allegato allo schema renderanno il tutto di facilissima realizzazione.....e buona lettura.

1817 HANGING POCKET

Nonostante il caldo di questo mese d'agosto, non ho resistito dal disegnare questo nuovo cestino di fiori, ispiratomi da un Pennsylvania German sampler del 1817. L'ho cucito come una utile tasca porta- tutto da appendere , luogo dove ritrovare quello che solitamente va perso nella foga del nostro beneamato ricamo. La parte alta è un porta aghi o puntaspilli e la tasca è abbastanza capiente da poterci contenere parecchie cose preziose...

Even it's so hot here in the north of Italy I could hardly wait to design this sweet flower basket which was inspired by a 1817 Pennsylvania German sampler. I finished it in a hanging pocket because I think it would be really needfull for keeping our stitching tools or other little treasures.This's a new Niky'screations designs and if you're interested in it please contact me.

Peacocks sewing set and freebie.

Ecco cosa hanno realizzato Helène ed Elisabetta. Helène ha ricamato e confezionato superbamente il mio disegno 'Peacock sewing set , Elisabetta ha magistralmente interpretato il mio freebie. Grazie ragazze avete fatto un magnifico lavoro.

SEASONAL SCISSORS KEEPER.

Ecco unltimati i miei nuovi portaforbici, molto utili per ritrovare questo prezioso utensile da ricamo che spessissimo cerchiamo e non troviamo a portata di mano. Appendendoli al collo con questa cordicella certamente non andranno mai perse. I disegni che ho elaborato ricordano le quattro stagioni. Li ho ricamati su lino Graziano e tinti nel caffè come di consueto, i filati sono DMC. Chi fosse interessato a quesi schemi mi può contattare al mio indirizzo e-mail.

I finally stitched and finish this tiny scissors keeper. Very needfull for keeping your treasure scissors and find them when you're looking for them so often and normally you can find !!It happens to me many times. You can hang it on your neck and having it always with you.Stitched on 32 Graziano raw linen coffee dyed and DMC thread. A Lovely time in QUEYRAS

Ciao carissime, ho fatto uno splendido viaggio con alcune amiche. Sono stata in Francia ed esattamente nel Queyras. Posti incantevoli e oasi per il ricamo. Guardate...c'è persino un paese che si chiama AIGUILLES!!!Le altre due foto invece le ho scattate in due bellissimi negozi di ricamo, il primo si chiama REVES DIVERS e si trova a Ristolas che è un ridente paesino sui monti dove pace e tranquillità ti danno l'ispirazione a ricamare, l'altro è a Biançon e si chiama 'MERCERIE de la GARGOUILLE'. In questa vacanza ci ha tenuto compagnia Paola che è un'amica ricamatrice la quale vive in questa zona per una lunga parte dell'anno. Grazie Paola per la tua gentilezza ed ospitalità.

Hi my dear friends, I've been away for a trip in France in Queyras area. Lovely places indeed, just perfect for relaxing and stitching. Have a look at the first picture..the name of this little village means 'NEEDLES'. The others two picts are taken from two lovely Cross stitch shops in Bryancon and Ristolas. I went to visit Paola too, she's a very kind stitcher who lives there for most part of the year .Paola tooks me around the villages and we had such good time . Thank you Paola for your great hospitality.
