STITCHING FRIEND part three

Carissime sono felice di presentarvi oggi la terza parte del mio nuovo schema che ho intitolato 'STICHING FRIENDS'. Vi capiterà spesso di condividere i vostri progetti di ricamo con una cara  amica e di ricamare insieme in compagnia di una tazza di te,  a me succede spesso soprattutto nelle giornate invernali e questi preziosi momenti sono davvero per me una gioia. Mi ritrovo con poche ma care amiche, a dire la verita' il gruppo è un piccolo gruppo di cinque, e il divertimento è assicurato. Questo schema è dedicato a tutte voi amiche di ricamo vicine e lontane  unite da questa speciale passione.  Il cesto è capiente abbastanza da contenere filo, lino, tessuti, schemi...e si accompagna magnificamente agli altri due oggetti precedentemente presentati: il needlebook e il cesto portacotone per il lavoro all'uncinetto.

 Ho lavorato il cestino all'uncinetto a punto basso e vi ho applicato il ricamo sul lato frontale, sul retro tenere roselline in lana rallegrano il tutto.

STITCHING FRIENDS sarà uno degli schemi che presenterò a Formigine a Settembre in occasione di Fili Senza Tempo.

Hello my dear friends I'm very happy to show you my new chart STITCHING FRIENDS ready finally!!! A very sweet design for all stitching friends!!! I know you've some special friends who share with you your stitching passion, that design is dedicated to them. I normally meet stitching friends once a week and it's just  a pleasure for us meet and stitch in front of a nice warm cup of tea. So here we're..that lovely stitching basket design is coming with the crochet needlebook and the little yarn crochet basket that I've already showed you in the lasts posts. NIKYSCREATIONS PRIM CALENDAR 2 ROUND ROBIN

Care amiche, il post di ieri, dove vi mostravo il libro che sto leggendo in questi giorni, ha ispirato la fantasia e la creatività sul web!!! Infatti ELY ha deciso di organizzare un Round Robin con un gruppo di amiche ricamatrici proprio su un mio progetto: il mio nuovo Primitive Calendar #2.
L'iniziativa è simpaticissima,  avendo partecipato personalmente a diversi RR  per esperienza posso confermare l'entusiasmo e il divertimento  che si prova nel realizzare questo progetto, si sviluppano nuove conoscenze,  si creano nuove amicizie e si consolidano quelle già esistenti. Il RR è un filo di amicizia e di simpatia che lega le amiche da una  comune  passione in queso caso quella del ricamo. Neanche  a farlo apposta il mio ultimo progetto si intitola STITCHING FRIENDS!!! ..siamo proprio in tema!!! partecipare è più che semplice.

RR is a very nice experience, very easy and funny to make and gives you the opportunity to finds new stitching friends in the world. Relaxing book!!!

Nonostante il grande tempo che dedico al ricamo al disegno e alla creativetà in generale, non trascuro mai quella che secondo me è una delle attività più appaganti e rilassanti in assoluto : il leggere.
 In questo periodo però necessito di libri poco impegnativi poichè sono molto presa dai miei nuovi progetti autunnali e quando stacco lo devo fare con qualcosa di veloce e leggero. Acquisto  libri negli States, in Colorado c'è un negozio di ricamo dove hanno dedicato un angolino a libri usati che trattano di storie inerenti al cucito, al ricamo o al quilt. Come ROUND ROBIN il romanzo che sto leggendo e che mi diverte molto. Una serie di storie di vita di un gruppo di quiltatrici che si ritrova in questo fantastico negozio a confezionare un pannello molto speciale che racconterà alla fine un pò di storia della loro vita....il ricamo sotto il libro??? beh quello sta per essere ultimato e lo vedrete presto.

Hello my dear friends, I've to tell you : I just lOVE to read!!!! Well, I spend most of my time in designing and stitching and..creating..but I never stop to read. When I go in Colorado I visit very often a cross stitch shop where I find many novel books about stitiching or quilting..like that one : ROUND ROBIN. It's a very easy and relaxing book about a group of friends who meet  in a wonderfull shop and they're doing a quilt pannel together, this pannel'll bring a little bit of history of their lives. It's so nice to sit and read and alternate stitching with it!!! The snap of stitching that you can see under the book is my newest design...I'll show it finished very soon!!!..until next time my dear friends!!! xxx NIKY.

STITCHING FRIENDS PART TWO

Buongiorno carissime, per iniziare in simpatia la settimana oggi vi propongo il secondo disegno dei tre tratto dal mio nuovo schema che ho intitolato STITCHING FRIENDS! Il primo progetto era il needlebook che vedete in foto, e che vi ho già mostrato nei precedenti posts, il secondo è questo delizioso cestino a crochet ideato apposta per contenere il gomitolo del nostro lavoro all'uncinetto. Il filato usato per questo cestino è un misto tra il lino e la corda e il suo colore caldo si abbina magnificamente al color salvia del porta aghi. La scritta è incorniciata con una 'puntina' all'uncinetto molto semplice che dona un tocco 'vintage' al progetto. Questi due lavori verranno accompagnati dal pezzo forte di questo schema che  completerà il disegno Stitching Friends!...quando lo vedrete?...beh...strada facendo! Hello my dear friends, hope you spent a very peacefull week- end and first of all very creative one!!! Today I want to show you my second project for my new design STITCHING FRIENDS! I've already showed you the crochet needlebook who's coming together that lovely very sweet crochet basket to keep you crochet treasures!!! I used a very nice and pretty color for that basket and a strong linen yarn which was quite hard to work but the resul is terrific!! Don't you think so? well, I'm working now on the third project who's coming in that chart and I'll show you ASAP!!! So, until next time my dears and keep on ...stitching!! XXX NIKY.

IL ETAIT UN FIL

Hello my dear friends. Hope you're doing well and  passing your summer in serenity. Well, today I want to show you a new that has a little bit of history. Time ago I met a director of EDITION DE SAXE and of a very famous french magazine called IL ETAIT UN FIL, she kindly invited me to design something for her. I was honored for that and of course I accecpted. Here we're I did it!! .. and today I'm proud to show you my project for that lovely french magazine. I made a pouch to bring everywhere with you on holiday for your stitching projects, and some very sweet little pincushions to use and to hang on a key..what do you think ? do you like it? I hope so. Carissime amiche oggi sono lieta di mostrarvi il mio progetto realizzato per la rivista francese IL ETAIT UN FIL di Ed. DE SAXE. Tempo fa ho incontrato la direttrice di questo famoso  giornale  la quale mi ha gentilmente invitato a realizzare un progetto esclusivo per il numero estivo della rivista. Naturalmente ho accettato perchè mi è sembrata una cosa straordinaria, e così tra un progetto e l'altro ecco che è nato questo delizioso porta lavoro  per i vostri ricami estivi e quattro simpatici puntaspilli che saranno utilissimi anche come decorazione per una chiave di un armadio speciale. STITCHING FRIENDS ACCESSORIES

 Buongiorno carissime, un nuovo giorno un nuovo progetto. Sto lavorando moltissimo per Formigine a settembre e oggi vi desidero presentare un pezzettino di un nuovo disegno che si initola STITCHING FRIENDS.   Il disegno si suddivide in tre parti e questa è una delle tre. Ho realizzato a crochet il porta aghi e poi ho 'incorniciato' il ricamo sempre con un semplice motivo all'uncinetto e l'ho applicato al needlebook. La scritta è molto  essenziale ed i colori sono i colori caldi che abitualmente uso e che caratterizzano il mio stile 'primitive'. Un modo nuovo ed insolito per la realizzazione di un utilissimo oggetto che troverà certamente un posticino nel nostro cesto porta lavoro...per oggi è tutto..alla prossima new care amiche e mi raccomando..felice ricamo e creatività a tutti! xxx NIKY.
Hello my dear friends I'm working pretty hard for Formigine  market in september. New designs, new finishings..many projects!! This lovely crochet needlebook is part of a new design that I called STITCHING FRIENDS..they're three designs all together that you can use in different way, here is the first. After made the crochet needlebook I stitched the design and 'framed' it with crochet then I sewed it on the little book, a very easy way to give a different looking to a very usefull accessorie for our sewing basket...it'all for now..until next time..keep going on stitching and ..have a lovely day. ....XXX NIKY.

JANE AUSTEN NEEDLEBOOKS

Buongiorno carissime amiche, oggi desidero mostrarvi nuovi needlebooks realizzati con la stessa tecnica della stampa su stoffa dei precedenti dedicati agli antichi samplers. Questa volta il soggetto è la nostra amata eroina Jane Austen che a distanza di anni ci fa ancora sognare e ci dona serenità con i suoi romanzi così mirabilmente raccontati e le sue descrizioni di un'epoca passata che ci affascina ancora e sempre. Ho scelto delle immagini di gentili donzelle in lettura nelle quali noi ci potremmo immedesimare in questa stagione estiva  dove abbiamo l'opportunità di dedicarci a questo passatempo forse un pò più frequentemente.
