ON THE ROAD AGAIN OFF FOR FILI SENZA TEMPO MARKET/FORMIGINE

 Hello my dear friends, time flies!!! Indeed!!! it seems like yesterday, ready for Nashville, and now I'm ready again for another market!!
Here everything you can find on my table at Fili Senza tempo Formigine this week end: my new designs..very new for Europe as it's the first time I'm showing them here...

Carissime, il tempo vola!!! sembra ieri pronta per Nashville e un mese dopo eccomi pronta per Fili senza tempo a Formigine questo week end!!!  Queste foto vi illustrano ciò che troverete sul mio tavolo: nuovi disegni, o meglio nuovi per l'Italia dato che è la prima volta che li porto con me ad un salone italiano, alcuni handmade che come sapete mi piace realizzare e poi... un volo di colombelle   di carta riciclata prese come spunto da un'idea di Meggie Bonanomi.
Se riuscite a fare una passaggiata al castello di Formigine vi aspettano tante sorprese e bellissime cose da vedere, vi attendiamo numerose ragazze..arrivederci a presto a FILI SENZA TEMPO!!!!

HOUSE THREAD KEEPER AND PIN!

Hello dear friends, always so busy here, everything must be ready for next week , Formigine market is coming so soon, and I need to have all done very quickly.
Here some picts of my very latest handmade: a very sweet home thread keep with a lovely 'diamond' shape pin!!!  It's very hard and take such long time to prepare that kind of stuff, painting, sanding and wax...but I'm quite satisfied at the end!! Carissime, tutto è in fermento qui, i preparativi per Formigine sono quasi ultimati , come sapete il 22 23 prossimi mi troverete al Castello di Formigine per un altra entusiasmante edizione di Fili Senza Tempo. Oggi vi mostro un altro handmade che troverete sul mio tavolo, si tratta di simpaticissime casette in legno porta fili alle quali ho aggiunto uno spillo decorativo. Ho dipinto , carteggiato e 'incerato' a tutto spiano ma voi sapete che mi piace trafficare anche così..non solo con ago e filo!!!
Questo e altro insieme ai miei nuovi schemi presentati a Nashville e non ancora visti in Italia!!!

PAPER# FABRIC NEEDLEBOOK

 hello my dears!!! Hope you're doing well ...pretty busy here on my craft room!!! everything has to be ready for next week for Formigine Fili Senza tempo market!!!

 I made some needlebooks enjoing with paper and fabric, I have so much fabric in my stash I really do!!!..and ribbon!!!..and felt...

..so I decided to used some for those needlebooks. Hope you , like them!
They measure approx 4" h x 2" w , the nice silk ribbon is so sweet and the scallop edges are just so decorative...well, if you're interested in them just write me for more information, I've made them in a limited edition number . SHEEP PINKEEP

Hello my dear friends, hope you're doing well and that your creativity is more inspired by the good weather and the sunshine. We're having such sunny and warm days on Lago Maggiore and I enjoy the sun so much .
Well, today I want to share with you those lovely very sweet heart pins kept in a tiny sheep!!! It was a lot of work to cut all those little faces and ears and  the card board... but at the end I'm  quite satisfied about my job!!!

MONTHLY ANIMAL SERIES / APRIL BUNNY

I know we're not on April yet, but I need to go on with my monthly animal series..

 March Bird was already in Nashville in February together with February Swan and January Cat, so I need to be ready with April for Formigine Market end of March.

 ...I decided to design a bunny for April. Bunny is Easter and Spring... and hope you like  it!

...here all together the very first months of the year! APRIL BUNNY...so sweet!

Care amiche, lo so che Aprile è ancora  lontano..ma il mese di marzo della mia Animal series è già uscito a Nashville e quindi ora è il momento di presentare Aprile per Fili senza tempo il 22 23 Marzo.
Aprile è impersonato da un dolce coniglio che si avvicina ad un cesto di tulipani..vi piace?
Potrete trovare i mesi fino ad ora usciti sul mio tavolo a Formigine..vi aspetto amiche mie!

FOLK PINKEEP!!!!!

Hello my dear friends!!!...working on paper alternating cross stitch and crochet, that's one of my fave hobby!!! So I enjoyed making those very sweet  paper envelopes adding some scrapbooking ...but, as I want always to make something about stitching, I put a very pretty pin inside so they can be used as pinkeep. Carissime, alternare il ricamo e l'uncinetto con lo scrapbooking è uno dei miei passatempi preferiti. Così mi sono divertita a confezionare queste piccole buste utilizzando  immagini folk prese da un vecchio libro...ma, siccome io vedo tutto orientato verso il nostro amato ricamo, ho inserito all'interno un' etichetta con uno spillo da me decorato e così queste buste potranno essere usate anche come porta spilli o porta aghi... felice ricamo a tutte amiche mie!!                                     xxx Niky.
