IN THE GARDEN

 Hello my dear friends, busy time for me setting everything for St Charles market Missouri middle of August. i'll be able to show some pictures of new designs very soon..keep in touch!!!
In the meantime I create that easy pattern thinking of you relaxing , stitchign or...crocheting in your garden. It's  really a very easy and quickly one and I'm sure you'll enjoy so much stitching it. Very few colors , a scrap of linen and you're done.

HOUSE OF XMAS

 Hello my dear friends, I know it's pretty early to think about Christmas, but for ST.Charles market, who'll be the middle of August, I need to bring Christmas charts with me..so that's a snap of one of my Christmas designs for st.Charles show...

I called it HOUSE OF XMAS. Very sweet little girls sharing Christmas gifts in a very cozy little home!!! I'll be able to show you the entire design very soon.

Care amiche, so che il Natale è molto lontano e che state pensando a mare e sole naturalmente. Ma oggi desidero mostrarvi uno scorcio di un mio nuovo disegno natalizio che ho preparato per St Chalres. Come sapete a questo show si dovrà portare autunno e Natale e quindi cosa c'è di meglio di HOUSE OF XMAS? Carissime, vi immagino occupate pianificando le vostre vacanze!! Molte di voi  sono ancora al lavoro e  qualcuno magari sarà già in ferie.  Tutte noi però non vogliamo trascurare il nostro ricamo o il nostro crochet, e gli hobby che ci rendono serene  non è vero??? ..

NEW DESIGNS ARE GROWING UP!!!!

 Hello my dear friends, Summer is here finally and we're enjoying so much the good weather on lake Maggiore!!! In the meantime I'm not resting at all, but I'm busy designing for St Charles. Today I want to share with some picts of  a new design featuring an Amish style life, I called it AMISH HARVEST and I've not finished it yet.

 I think it's very cute, a couple of Amish friends are sharing the goodies from the Harvest and they're enjoying the sunny day in their orchard!

..pumpkins, apple trees, birds and cats..a very simple life of friendship for a new design coming in August!!

Carissime anche qui l'estate è arrivata e il sole caldo davvero ci voleva sul nostro splendido lago.
Intanto io sono occupatissima nei preparativi dei nuovi disegni che porterò a St. Charles ad Agosto. Oggi desidero mostrarvi un piccolo assaggio di uno dei 'nuovi' che ho intitolato AMISH HARVEST!
Ho sempre amato la popolazione Amish e quando anni fa ho visitato delle comunità in Ohio ne sono rimasta molto entusiasta e affascinata. Ecco che quindi non potevo altro che essere ispirata per realizzare questo disegno. Penso che ne farò una serie  riguardante le stagioni e quindi dato il periodo in cui uscirà comincio con  l'Autunno.
per oggi è tutto ma tenetevi sintonizziate, sto ultimando alcuni 'animali della serie 'Animlas Series' e vi garantisco che sono davvero molto originali. Felice giornata creativa  amiche mie. xxx Niky

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!!!

Hello my dear friends, I often receive many letters from lovely an sweet stitchers where they ask me what inspires my design, well, everybody knows how I love to travel all over the world and everytime I keep something inside of me: little simple things and feelings ..sometime is only  a door of a house, sometime  is a river or a bridge....every little thing can give me  inspiration...but over all...if you live in Baveno, where we live, with such beautiful landscape with : lake, mountains, paths, and stunning view..well of course you would take a lot of inspiration.
 Enjoy those pictures of my little village and I deeply suggest you to visit lago Maggiore BAVENO - VERBANIA one day ...a beautiful quite and peaceful place. happy creative day my friends...Niky

Carissime ricevo innumerevoli lettere di amiche ricamatrici che spesso mi chiedono da dove prendono spunto i miei disegni. Voi tutte conoscete il mio amore per i viaggi, cerco di viaggiare spesso e di cogliere i sapori e i sentimenti dalle piccole cose, potrebbe essere un portone di una antica casa, un angolo di giardino, un ponte..tutto mi può dare input per creare un nuovo disegno.
Porto tutto dentro con me  a casa e poi rielaboro e creo un disegno.
 Ma soprattutto vorrei centrare l'attenzione sul fatto che vivo a BAVENO sul lago Maggiore  e le foto che vedete sono angoli del luogo dove viviamo..certamente come non essere ispirati da tutto questo che ho davanti agli occhi ogni giorno?
Spero abbiate l'opportunità  di venirmi a trovare prima o poi per poter ammirare da vicino questo  grande spettacolo della natura..felice giornata creativa amiche mie...NIKY.

PINS AND BEADS

 Everytime I make  a new design and I finish it as a pincushion, I'm always thinking about a pin...well, of course!!! But I mean a special one.
So I try to create new pins to use on my pincushions . I made heart shape pins, painted pins and some with other ornaments. Now I made those with a old beads!!!

I've been in an antique market, a huge one, in Colorado last March and I found some beautiful old beads probably coming from an old purse. I used them for making special pins and I set them  on a nice wool fabric cutted on a heart shape and on a lovely paper. Aren't they so cute?

Carissime, ogni volta che confeziono un mio ricamo come un puntaspilli penso a degli spilli speciali. Ho realizzato molti tipi di spilli, a forma di cuore, li ho dipinti, ho inserito dei piccoli ornamenti..ora  ne ho fatti di nuovi utilizzando vecchie perle..
Quando ero in Colorado il Marzo scorso , ho acquistato, in un enorme antique market, delle perle probabilmente recuperate da una vecchia borsa. Me ne sono innamorata e le ho portate a casa. Risultato ora fanno bella mostra su questi spilli adagiati su cuori di carta e stoffa e attendono di essere usati per un porta spilli speciale.
