Carissime, eccovi qualche foto significativa dell'Atelier di sabato a casa di Silvia. Le amiche hanno realizzato il progetto'Antique Box and Pendant'!! Le foto parlano davvero da sole, una giornata all'insegna della creatività, simpatia  e della bella compagnia. ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!

Here we're!!! On the road again, ready for Turin to Silvia's Atelier. Here my class, a paper mache box and a lovely necklace. I'm sure it'll be lot of fun. Hope to have time to take pictures of the class and show you. Can hardly wait. Have  a lovely week end my dear friends!! xxxNiky.
Ci siamo di nuovo eccomi pronta per la partenza i kit per la mia classe a casa di Silvia sono pronti e non vedo l'ora di incontrare le amiche che parteciperanno al mio corso. WOOD THREAD WINDERS

 Hello my dear friends, I'm so happy to show you those pictures today! I finally finished my new thread holders!!! my friend Patricia cut the wood for me ( Thanks Patricia) and I spent my last days to paint, wax, sand and polish them. And now they're done!!!

 I chosed three very primitive style colors and I think they look really great!

 They measure approx 8cm w x 10cm h and they just the best to keep your thread in your special sewing basket.

The hole in the top middle'll be needfull if you decide to use your thread keeper as an ornament to hang!!! Hope you like my new WOOD THREAD WINDERS, you can find them on my ETSY.

buongiono carissime amiche, oggi vi desidero presentare un nuovissimo progetto che mi ha impegnato parecchio nei gironi passati. La mia amica Patricia ha tagliato per me queste forme ed io le ho dipinte, incerate, invecchiate fino a farle diventare così come le vedete nelle foto. Ho usato tre differenti colori bellissimi, , il mattone, l'ocra e l'azzurro polvere ottenendo un effetto davvero primitive che si adatterà bene in un cesto da lavoro speciale. Il buco in alto vi sarà utile se vorrete usare il porta filo anche come ornamento da appendere. potete trovare i miei WOOD THREADS WINDERS su ETSY.  Felice giornata creativa care amiche...xxx Niky.

A SAMPLER FOR CHRISTMAS

Hello my dear friends, I know Christmas is so far..and probably you don't want to think about it yet, but I want to show you one of my  Christmas project almost finished!! That is called A SAMPLER FOR CHRISTMAS and it'll be ready very soon. As you can see a little bit from the pictures they're tiny designs to stitch on an entire sampler or to pick up some and stitch separately!! I'll show the full design picture ASAP!!! Carissime mi rendo conto che il Natale è ancora lontano(per fortuna) e che probabilmente volete godervi il sole e il caldo fin che potete, però oggi spero di farvi cosa gradita mostrandovi alcune immagini tratte dal mio nuovo schema A SAMPLER FOR CHRISTMAS . Quando   ve lo mostrerò ultimato vedrete che vi suggerirà molte ispirazioni, poichè potrete ricamarlo tutto in un unico progetto o estrarre alcune parti e realizzare piccole cose interessanti per la nostra festa dell'anno più cara. E tutto per oggi, corro a finir di preparare i kits per la mia classe di sabato..cercate di trovare un angolo fresco che vi permetta di ricamare , mi raccomando....xxxNiky.

CROCHET BOOTEE and CROSSSTITCH

Hello my dear friends, hope you spent a very good Sunday in peace and joy!!! We had a wonderfull walking thought the woods and we were just happy for the cool air we found at 600 meter of hight!! Thanks God!! I finished another crochet idea last week and I'm glad to share some pictures with you. Tha's a lovely very sweet little 'mocassins's just perfect to put some very quickly stitching and using it as pincushion..very unusual one but so cute! The tiny design is from a newest coming very soon and is the same of the one I used for the little basket crochet that you can see here.

Carissime amiche, spero abbiate passato una bella domenica in pace e serenità. Noi abbiamo fatto una lunga passeggiata tra i boschi e ci siamo beati e sollazzati alla frescura dei 600 metri!! Meno male , ci voleva!!
Ho finito di confezionare un progetto veloce veloce all'uncinetto . Questo piccola scarpina è un delicato puntaspilli a cui io ho aggiunto un facile ricamo tratto da un nuovissimo disegno che uscirà molto presto. E' lostesso disegno che usato per il piccolo cestino punta spilli che potete vedere QUI! Continuo ad avere idee 'crochettose' che con il ricamo diventano davvero speciali.
Per oggi è tutto care amiche, spero che troviate un angolino fresco dove poter dedicare qualche punto al ricamo e alla vostra creatività. xxx Niky.

REGENCY PINCUSHIONS

Hello my dear friends, it's still very hot here on Lago Maggiore!! Too hot and damp! I'm trying to finish one cross stitch project( it's about Christmas..hummmm!!) but I wanted to stop a little bit and try something different. So I realized those lovely Jane Austen Pincushions , aren't they s sweet?
So soft colors and very old pictures from Regency Era! I just love them, they bring me to the past. Hope you enjoy them ...you'll them on my Etsy!
and I'm almost ready for giving another Antique Box class and pendant next saturday to Silvia house, can't hardly wait indeed!!!..more informations very soon. It's all for now, have  a lovely stitching and creative day my dears...until next time!
Buongiorno carissime amiche, il caldo è sempre molto intenso e non mi permette di portare a termine alcuni ricami di schemi ' natalizi' che ho in ballo in questi giorni. Quindi ho lavorato su qualcosa di diverso e ho realizzato dei puntaspilli con immagini della nostra amata Jane! Spero vi piacciano, li troverete su Etsy e ne porterò senz'altro anche a Formigine a settembre per Fili senza Tempo l'8 /9 settembre. Nel frattempo sono in fermento nella preparazioni dei kits per la mia classe a casa di Silvia il prossimo sabato, proporrò la mia Antique Box class and Pendant  e non vedo l'ora !! ..maggiori informazioni nel prossimo post!
