Durante il mio recente viaggio al museo di Anversa sono stata particolarmente colpita da un 'darning sampler' del 1876 che si presentava con un ricamo floreale nella parte alta del lavoro, erano parecchi cestini di fiori di svariato genere e forma. Da uno di questi cestini è nato questo mio nuovo disegno ispirato a questo insolito sampler.I was very well impressed by a 'darning sampler' in Anversa museum, it was un unusual one with beautifull pots of flowers on the very top part of it. I was so inspired by it that I decided to make a new design reproducing one of those pots of flowers.
