Lori è una carissima persona che considero amica e che disegna delle cose straordinarie come questo 'Kitty kitty' che io ho realizzato su lino Lakeside 36ct e con filati NPS.

Mi è subito piaciuto questo nuovo Loose di Blackbird, ha davvero aria di primavera, non ho resistito ed eccolo qui confezionato a cuscino con una tasca sul retro per riporci i nostri fiori profumati.

I just loved this latest Loose from Blackbird, it's very 'springy'!!! I could hardly wait to stitch it.
That it, finished as a pillow with a pocket on the back for our favourite flowers.

Da un'idea di SN, penso sia un regalo carino ad una amica ricamatrice.Li ho realizzati pensando a dei compleanni in vista.

These sweety scissors keeper with a heart shape are a SN idea.I think i'ts a wonderfull gift for a dearest stitcher .I made them for some birthday's friends.

A VIRTUOUS WOMAN STOCKING.

I would like to clear up the mystery....my latest big work it's... A virtuous woman stocking from Carriagehousesampling. I loved to stitch on 40 ct Lake side linen 'lentil' and with NPS colors.

Some of you had already known this design just from the little piece posted few days ago. I'm very happy to finished it too, it's ready for next november italian show.

QUAKER POCKET FINISHED.

Non vedevo l'ora di postare questo lavoro che mi sta particolarmente a cuore. Grazie a una cara amica americana che mi ha procurato questo disegno sono riuscita a realizzarlo. Si tratta di una 'tasca' che le signore di un tempo mettevano in vita sotto la loro gonna e che serviva per custodire, chiavi o monete o fazzoletti.

I can hardly wait to show you this project. Thanks to a dear american friend of mine who gave me this design I could finally realize it. This is a 'pocket ' kept by women under their skirts many years ago. They usually put keys or money or handkerchiefs inside it.

Ecco che cosa ho realizzato con una scatoletta di legno grezzo, dopo averla dipinta ho applicato un a fotografia recuperata da un dipinto, all'interno un cuscinetto che ricorda il disegno sul coperchio. Simpatica idea regalo non trovate?

I made a little vintage handpainted box for a gift to my sister in law, I try to stitch a little pincushion with the same design that I put on the cover. Don't you think is't a good gift idea?

Finalmente mi sono decisa a confezionare questo Loose Feather che ho ricamato lo scorso febbraio in Olanda appena prima di partire per Nashville. La scelta finale è stata un cuscino che ho riempito di segatura e di lavanda. I colori sono stati smorzati da una bella immersione di una notte in una tazza di tè nero.

I finally finished this Loose Feather Blackbird-desings. I started and finish to stitch in the Nederland just before leaving to Nashville. I decided to make a pillow with sawdust and lavender.I put it on black tea for one night just for getting an older look. Hope you like it.
