MY LAST PROJECT FOR TGOS

Carissime, questa deliziosa 'donzella' è il mio ULTIMO lavoro realizzato per la rivista on line TGOS.Quando dico ultimo è proprio perchè la rivista non ha un futuro e questo di maggio è l'ultimo numero che uscirà. Ho avuto il piacere di collaborare con Kirsten ,editore  del giornale, e ho passato parecchio tempo e scrivere articoli e disegnare in esclusiva per questa rivista e ne sono stata immensamente felice, voi tutte sapete quanto mi piace disegnare e realizzare ..e adesso tutto è finito. Questo perchè Kirsten non ce la fa più a portare avanti un lavoro sul quale non può più contare.I troppi abusi sul web, le troppe condivisioni l'hanno portata a dover chiudere il giornale. Non sono tanto le piccole condivisioni fra due o tre amiche, qui si parla di very e propri forum o club che spopolano ultimamente. Non c'è più rispetto per il lavoro del disegnatore che esegue tutto con estrema cura  e passione. Dietro a un disegno c'è una ricerca, del tempo, enorme creatività. Il disegno è la base del ricamo se non ci fosse il disegno il ricamo non potrebbe esistere. Scrivo questo per solidarietà con Kirsten e per tutte le altre disegnatrici. Mi rivolgo ovviamente solo a una parte di ricamatrici poichè so perfettamente che sono innumerevoli le persone oneste e corrette. Vi incontro alle mie fiere , seguo appena posso i vostri blog, gioisco dei vostri commenti e delle vostre belle parole, so che siete persone speciali e a voi mi rivolgo per avere dell'aiuto..aiutate il ricamo a non finire come è successo a TGOS, sensibilizzate anche voi il mondo delle ricamatrci..conto anche sul vostro aiuto.
Hello my dear friends, that lovely little girl is my LAST project for TGOS magazine. The magazine is closing because of copyright abuse. Too many forums and clubs on the web too many abuses, please ,please help up us to keep creativity alive, designing is one the most beautifull things and gives serenity to everybody .Here below the article that Kirsten Edwards wrote on her last magazine issue.
Hello readers,
This is last editorial I will ever write for The Gift of Stitching magazine. This is the last issue and
it is not very easy for me to type these words. I know many readers will miss this publication
because you’ve written and told me so. It would be good to continue, I would love to, but the
unending battle against Internet piracy has taken it’s toll and our only choice left is to close and
move on. I’m not sure what you think about Internet piracy. Some readers have written and told
me they don’t believe it is the big problem I say it is. Others have written and are angry it has
come to this. All I have left to say on this issue is that the future of this industry is in the hands
of each cross stitcher. Everyday a cross stitcher has a choice - to share or not share a pattern
online. If every stitcher stopped sharing patterns via forums, emails and private groups then this
industry could spring up with new life and move forward. If the sharing continues, then I suspect
that this beautiful craft will have a very small future. Our children and grandchildren will see our
beautifully stitched samplers and pictures and wonder why this craft is lost to them. This is not
a happy note to end on, but it is the reason this magazine is stopping. This is not the end though,
I will continue to fight, hope and design. There are many beautiful cross stitchers who respect
designers and publishers by guarding their collections from online sharing. I hope we can all
continue to stitch together with the choice of products and charts we have always had. Every
stitcher can join this fight to give this industry a bright and strong future - it needs every stitcher
now!

Mystery SAL al Castello PRIMA FOTO

Carissime con immenso piacere stasera ho ricevuto la prima foto della prima tappa del Mystery sal già ricamata da Marina!!!!Il suo superturbo ago ha già compiuto il primo passo ed ecco la sua foto..allora il mistero si infittisce...cosa ci sarà sotto questa testolina??? e sotto questo fiore?..hummm per questo dovrete attendere il 3 di giugno con la seconda tappa.. felice ricamo a tutte!

Carissime, innanzi tutto vi ringrazio poichè vi siete iscritte in tantissime  sia Lilliviolette che Nikyscreations hanno avuto molto da fare con la posta!!! GRAZIE per il vostro affetto. Ora solo alcuni ragguagli e risposte ad alcune lettere arrivate: anche se vi iscrivete oggi o domani o più avanti la cosa non fa differenza, siete sempre in tempo purchè rispettiate le scadenze delle varie tappe che sono scritte sul regolamento. Quindi se una ricamatrice scopre il SAL anche il giorno prima della scadenza  di una tappa può sicuramente parteciparvi purchè la foto del lavoro della tappa pervenga  alla disegnatrici nella data scritta appunto sul regolamento.Non vogliamo escludere nessuno perchè il bello è proprio questo: partecipare. Ci dispiace per le amiche che vivono all'estero poichè si sa non avranno la possibilità di venire a Formigine per la premiazione, ma potranno comunque ricamare in SAL passo dopo passo. Sappiamo  anche che non tutte le  ricamatrici italiane iscritte al SAL potranno partecipare a FILI SENZA TEMPO a settembre,  ma ovviamente le probabilità per chi vive in Italia sono certamente maggiori..quindi ragazze ..vi aspetto e...BUON LAVORO e BUONA FORTUNA!!!
My dear friends thans so much for writing about Mystery Sal as you can  understand for stitchers who doesn't live in Italy is rather impossible to be part of the draw for that SAL, we'll give the prizes for that in Formigine  market here in Italy at the end of september, so of course, unless you can come to Italy ..it's impossible. But all of you guys are MORE THAN WELCOME to stitch this SAL step by step, just write me an e-amil and I'll send you the pdf with the design, so follow the blog and you 'll see when is the second and the third step so you can really have all the design finish together all the italian stitchers.Sorry for that but you can understand that the distance is really a problem in that case!! Mystery Sal al castello PRIMA TAPPA!!!

..eccoci qui. ..buongiorno! ..allora siete pronte?  Questa è la prima tappa, vi ricordo che per partecipare dovrete scrivermi una mail alla quale io risponderò inviandovi il pdf del disegno con le istruzioni riguardanti l'occorrente per la realizzazione del lavoro e il punto da dove iniziare  a ricamare,  in allegato riceverete anche il regolamento del sal e vi comunicherò il vostro numero necessario per l'estrazione. Vi prego di scrivermi e-mail (nicoletta.farrauto@alice.it) e non comunicarmi le vostre adesioni attraverso i commenti sul blog, questo perchè rischierei di non leggere per tempo i vostri messaggi che, benchè molto graditi, in questo momento non ho purtroppo molto tempo per leggerli dovendo occuparmi a tempo pieno della posta e delle vostre e-mails affinchè a tutte arrivi il tutto!!Qualcuno è preoccupato perchè non è sicuro di venire a Formigine, non c'è problema se sfortunatamente le vincitrici non potranno essere presenti alla premiazione il premio verrà recapitato a casa..c'è posto per tutti!..quindi ragazze buon lavoro e buona fortuna..attendo con trepidazione le vostre e-mails.Felice ricamo!

MYSTERY SAL al CASTELLO

Care amiche, oggi desidero  farvi partecipi di una iniziativa nata insieme a LILLIVIOLETTE. Abbiamo pensato di indire un sal ma non il solito SAL bensì un MYSTERY SAL, lo abbiamo intitolato Mystery sal al Castello poichè la conclusione del tutto avverrà al Castello di Formigine in occasione della edizione 'Fili senza tempo autunnale' che si svolgerà a settembre in data che vi comunicheremo a breve.
Da domani seguendo i nostri due blog pubblicheremo la prima tappa ricamata del SAL, Lilliviolette pubblicherà la sua sul suo blog ed io la mia sul mio, le interessate a partecipare al Sal dovranno scrivere una mail alla disegnatrice del Sal che hanno scelto e verrà inviato il pdf della prima tappa con le regole del'gioco' e il numero che dovrete avere per poter partecipare all'estrazione finale, questa avverrà appunto durante l'edizione autunnale/ natalizia di Fili senza tempo a settembre..potete anche partecipare con entrambi i nostri disegni ! Quindi carissime vi aspetto numerose domani..con la prima tappa del MYSTERY SAL AL CASTELLO...
Hello folks, I'm showing you only that lovely picture today..it's about a mystery Sal that LILLIVIOLETTE and I are going to do, that SAL is  for stitchers who can come to next Formigine market in september..but..if some of you, even so far,  wants to stitch it just write me an e-mail and I'll be glad to send the first step of the design, even you cannot be part of that market you can anyway stitch it... RED HOUSE

Eccoci giunte all'ultima puntata, oggi vi presento la mia new completamente realizzata. Il disegno si intitola RED HOUSE, un delizioso libretto porta aghi ricamato sul  mio lino tinto quadrettato . Insolita è la confezione , infatti da chiuso il libricino è semplicemente decorato con i fiori a crochet ma la sorpresa è all'interno, poichè come lo apriamo scopriamo il disegno: una tenera casetta in mattoni...
anche Red House con gli altri nuovi disegni 'BROWN HOUSE' e 'LOVELY NECKLACES' saranno con me a RISO e ROSE a fine maggio e a DOLE nel primo week end di giugno insieme ad altre sorprese crocettose!!!.per chi non potesse venire a questi appuntamenti potrà trovare i nuovi disegni come sempre a Casa Cenina .
Here we're at the end of the surprise..finally I can show you my new design finished. I called it RED HOUSE, a lovely needlebook a little bit unusual, the stitching is inside, outside you have those tiny crochet roses. I stitched it on my gingham hand dyed linen with dmc thread one strand over two thread of linen. Red house together with Brown house and Lovely necklace are my newest designs that I'll bring with me in Riso e Rose and Dole end of may and begining of june .They'll be available to Casa Cenina on line shop.
