Sul lago sta iniziando la primavera!!! Per lo meno sembra dalla temperatura un pò più mite rispetto alle scorse settimane. Sarà per questo che ho ricamato tutto di un fiato questo kit di La d Da. Spero che anche a voi ispiri quella sensazione di primavera di cui abbiamo bisogno.

Spring is coming, I can feel that from the sun who's shining on lago Maggiore today.

For that reason I stitched this La d Da daisy. I hope it'll enjoy you as it does me.

FRIEND WITH YOU

Primo lavoro dopo il ritorno da Nashville. Ho un pò di cosette da confezionare ma questa ha avuto la priorità. Si tratta del porta lavoro di Blackbird design pubblicato sull'ultimo libro. Non ho ricamato la poesia a fianco poichè mi piaceva vedere la bella stoffina francese ....

This's the first stitch after Nashville. I've some few things to finish but I wanted to do this as I like it so much. From the latest book, I didn't stitch the verses because I would like to show this lovely french fabric.

Finalmente a casa dopo il Nahsville 2009. Anche quest'anno tante cose da leccarsi i 'baffi'.

Con orgoglio vi mostro due foto tratte dal 'mio' libro .....ebbene sì, ecco la sorpresa, ho dovuto tenerla nascosta perchè doveva essere la novità del 2009 nella Blackbird-designs booth.

Eccolo quì : una splendida collaborazione con due delle mie disegnatrici favorite. All'interno molti progetti di semplice esecuzione eseguiti da me medesima e da Alma e Barb ,un lavoro che mi ha fatto sentire fiera di me stessa.

Finally home from Nashville 2009. As always a wonderfull experience. This's year a very nice surprise for you my dear friends from every blogs of the world: this's the book that I made with Alma and Barb from Blackbird-designs, lot of little projects very quickly and easy to stitch.

The book was a great success in Nashville and I'm proud of that.

THE 1816 EDCINA PIETERS SAMPLER.

Sto lavorando a un progetto che è nella mia mente da anni: una riproduzione di un Black sampler tipico della regione olandese di GRONINGEN. E' un lavoro piuttosto impegnativo che ho scoperto su SANQ n.40. Ovviamente ne ho fatto solo un pezzettino e ve lo mostro prima di partire per Nashville. Ebbene, domani la partenza nel 'nostro mondo dei sogni'.

Quest'anno ci sarà una sorpresa che mi riguarda particolarmente da vicino, ma per ora deve rimanere un segreto.Vi saluto con affetto e vi aspetto puntuali fra una quindicina di giorni sempre quì.

I'm working on a huge project found years ago on SANQ n.40. It's a Black sampler serie from 'GRONINGEN' duch area. It's a reproduction that I love a lot.

This 's the last post before leaving for Nashville, this year I'll get a big very good surprise indeed which's a secret for now...I'll miss you a lot friends, talk with you in the middle of this month.

EARTH ANGEL

Ecco il terzo angelo, questo è EARTH ANGEL e si va ad aggiungere agli altri due. Ricamato su lino lakeside nella tonalità 'pear' e con filati AVAS e NPS.

That's it the third one this's EARTH ANGEL and is joint to the others. I stitched it on36ct laked side linen 'pear' wiht AVAS and NPS.

All those three beautifull angels are designed by LORI MARCOVICH by L D Da.

GARDEN ANGEL

Dopo lo splendido sole della Sicilia al mio ritorno a casa ho trovato :pioggia, neve e gelo!!

Mi sono consolata finendo questo secondo angelo di Lori.Si chiama 'Garden Angel ' ed è il secondo della serie di tre. Sto lavorando sul terzo, e nel frattempo sto pensando a Nashville, la mia partenza si avvicina: mancano solo due settimane e poi sarò nell'oasi felice americana.

After the beautifull Sicily's sunshine I'm back home and I found only rain, snow and cold..very cold. So I just finished the second Lori's angel :this's called Garden Angel and it's the second one of the serie, I'm working on the third now and, in the meantime, I'm thinking on Nashville who 'll be in a couple of weeks. I can hardly wait.

Questo inconsueto angelo è il terzo di una serie di tre,sto lavorando ora su Garden Angel e ho in progetto Earth Angel. Lori ha come sempre trasformato un soggetto banale in un opera di estrema originalità, i suoi disegni mi ispirano particolarmente.Vi lascio con questo ricamo per qualche giornovisto che sono in partenza per il caldo sole della Sicilia..
