Vi presento Suzannah, una delle girls di Carriagehousesamplings. Divertentissima da realizzare, un pò lunga da ricamare poichè è piuttosto grande. I colori sono splendidi, adoro l'lfabeto in ordine sparso.


I'm glad to introduce you Suzannah, one of Carriagehousesamplings girls. I enjoyed myself a lot stithcing it even a little bit long to do because it's really big. Wonderfull palette of colors.., I just love this random alphabet.

My quaker house

Ho terminato qualche settimana fa questo disegno di Blackbird design tratto dal loro ultimo libro With my needle and thread. Non so ancora l'applicazione che gli darò. Dato il lino che ho usato(45ct vintage ) ci ho messo molto tempo ad ultimarlo e quindi forse lo incornicerò. Qualche idea?

I finished this sampler some weeks ago, this design is from the latest Blackbird book called 'With my needle and thread'. I actually used a very difficult 45ct vintage linen and I think that I'll decide to put it in a frame, any ideas for different finishing?

Workbasket Mouse scissors keeper.

Nuovo nuovo eccolo quì tratto dal recente disegno presentato a Nashville lo scorso febbraio, vi presento Quaker Mouse. L'ho ricamato in aereo e durante il nostro soggiorno di una notte a Menphis causa un'avaria al motore del nostro aereo e alla tempesta di neve che imperversava nel sud degli States in quel periodo.Per fortuna come sempre il ricamo è provvidenziale e così ,avendo a disposizione del fili NPS blue e un pezzetto di lino, ecco quì cosa ne è uscito.L'idea di finirlo in un porta forbici è stata di Candy, in effetti ho delle deliziose forbicine antiche che hanno trovato qui una piacevole collocazione.

This's Workbasket Quaker Mouse that I finished in Scissor keeper right now. I just love it, I stitched it in our way back from Nashville and in Menphis where Candy and I should stay one night because our late flight. The idea in doing a scissor keeper is by Candy, I think is perfect, I have so beautifull old scissors that found here the right place to stay. Thank you dear friend Candy.
