Christmas Liminaries

Ecco il mio anticipo sul Natale. Ho ricamato questo vecchio disegno di GH mesi fa presa dall'entusiasmo di essere finalmente riuscita ad acquistarlo da un negozio negli USA. Ed ora finalmente eccolo debitamente incorniciato con qualcosa recuperato da mia sorella Matilde, abile negli acquisti di Brocantage.

This is one of my first 2008 Christmas ornament. I stitched this very old GH design mounths ago when I got it from an american shop , it's one of the out of print GH designs and I was so excited to have it in my stash that I couldn't wait to do it .

Finally my sister Matilde found a right vintage frame .

A wreath for Denise

Ho realizzato questa ghiralnda con la vite canadese e l'ho addobbata a Natale per la porta di casa della mia amica Denise. Ho pensato di farle una sorpresa e di mettergliela direttamente sul portone oggi pomeriggio in modo che la trovi al ritorno dal lavoro.

I made this Christmas wreath for my dear friend Denise, I'm going to put it directly on her front door this afternoon so she'll find it as a surprise tonight coming back home from work.

Eccomi di ritorno da una breve vacanza al caldo sole dell'Andalusìa, il viaggio aereo mi ha fruttato questo simpatico coniglio tratto da un disegno di Twisted Thread.

Just back from a short trip to Andalusìa, I stitched this cute bunny on flight, it's a very old Twisted Thread desing.

RICAMO ITALIANO e MOSTRA a BASSANO del GRAPPA

Vi mostro le pagine che la rivista Ricamo Italiano Speciale Natale ha voluto dedicare ai miei ricami.E' una foto ripresa alla mostra che ho tenuto a Milano qualche anno fa.

Le altre due foto si riferiscono ad una magnifica mostra che sono andata a visitare con un gruppo di amiche a Bassano del Grappa. Le signore di Bassano hanno allestito in modo eccellente con buon gusto ed estrema acuratezza.

The others two pictures are from a show in Bassano Del Grappa where I've been with friends last saturday. The ladies from Bassano made a wonderfull work, good taste and sophisticated stitches.
