VINTAGE NECKLACE

Carissime, oggi vi presento il mio 'lavoro' della domenica pomeriggio. Beh, ho ricamato tempo fa questi medaglioni traendo i disegni dal mio schema 'Sampler symbols'. Trovo che siano piccoli disegni perfetti per questo tipo di creazione.Oggi pomeriggio ho finalmente avuto il tempo di confezionare il tutto e di presentarvelo.

Ho realizzato delle raffinate collane in perfetto stile 'vintage' utilizzando dei nastri di seta tinti a mano di 'ATALIE' e 'THREAD GATHERER'..insomma questo è il risultato. Che ne dite? Le ho già inserite nella mia 'nikyscreations boutique' , chi ne fosse interessato mi può contattare per avere ulteriori informazioni. Le cornicette che ho usato sono di 'HOMESPUNELEGANCE'

Hello my dear friends, i'm glad to show you my 'sunday homework'!!! well i made the stitching few days ago getting them form my chart' Sampler symbols', those little designs are just perfect for that. I put them in such lovely 'frames' creating 'vintage necklaces'. Beautifull hand-dyed ribbon by THE THREAD GATHRER and ATALIE is used for hanging..frames by 'HOMESPUNELEGANCE'.

WHIMSICAL BOX

Di ritorno da un viaggio mi porto sempre dentro qualche idea che poi rielaboro e realizzo seguendo le mie ispirazioni. ..e così visitando i mercatini dell'antiquariato di Delft e di Den Haag, mi sono imbattuta in diverse scatole da 'sigari' che mi hanno fatto venire un'idea. Così eccone una , l'ho dipinta, foderata ed ho aggiunto un tenero puntaspilli dove ho ricamato una sezione del mio schema 'Whimsical pincushion'. Sui toni del blu che ricordano il mare questa scatola si aggiunge ai manufatti che porterò con me a Formigine a settembre insieme a tutte le altre mie creazioni.

Back from my travels I usually bring many ideas, so, after my trip to the Netherland visiting so many antique markets, i found that lovely cigars box. As soon as i got home i realized that sweety sewing box. The pincushion designs is one part of my charts 'Whimsical Pincushions', the blues remind the sky and the sea. I'll bring that box with me in 'Formigine' market next september with all of my creations.

..ON THE ROAD AGAIN...

..sono di nuovo in partenza, vado in Olanda per qualche giorno. Andrò a far visita a carissimi amici e approfitteremo, insieme, di andare a vedere questa fantastica mostra di antichi samplers a Goes. Prenderò certo nuove idee ed ispirazioni. Non mancheremo il mercato dell'antiquariato di Delfh e...beh il programma è fitto e concentrato, vi informerò meglio al mio ritorno..vado,.. Amsterdam mi aspetta, a presto amiche e happy stitching.
..on the road again, Amsterdam is waiting for me, i've lot of friends in the Netherland and we're going to visit that wonderfull 'Antique samplers show' in Goes together. CONCORSO

Non vi capita mai di partecipare così per caso a qualche concorso pensando..'ma sì mi iscrivo'.. tanto..tentar non nuoce, ma certo non arriverò a capo di nulla'..?..è quello che è capitato a me mesi fa quando ho iscritto il mio 'Christmas cone' della foto al 'Concorso per la Creatività' indetto dalle edizioni Luminà...e invece eccomi ricevere la comunicazione che il mio 'cono ' è stato scelto insieme ad altri lavori arrivati in finale per essere fotografato su di un calendario ed una agenda del 2012..beh..che dire non me lo aspettavo e ne sono felice!

Never happen to you to decide to be part of a concourse and think ..'take the change and let's do it?'..well that what i did few mounths ago deciding to subscribe my 'Christmas cone' to Luminà edition magazine concourse. ...so, a call informed me yesterday that i'm a finalist and my stitching'll be published on 2012 calendar and diary.I' very happy for that indeed!!

SEASONAL HANGING POCKETS FALL & WINTER

Carissime eccomi di ritorno da Macugnaga, la fiera di san Bernardo si è rivelata come sempre fantastica e quest'anno anche accompagnata da un sole splendido.
Ho scattato parecchie foto ma ancora non le ho scaricate e non appena lo farò dedicherò un post a questo bellissimo evento.

Per ora desidero 'svelarvi il mistero' di qualche giorno fa. I famosi pacchettini che vi avevo mostrato racchiudono il nuovo schema, che è la continuazione del precedente uscito qualche mese fa. Si tratta di 'Sesonal hanging pockets Fall e Winter' .Per queste due stagioni, che sono anche le mie preferite ho scelto i toni caldi della terra, i mogano e i marroni, ghiande e uccellini per l'autunno e l'immancabile renna per l'inverno. Potete realizzare, come ho suggertio io, un sewing roll , ma i piccoli disegni saranno utili anche presi singolarmente per creare decorazioni che andranno ad adornare la vostra casa rallegrando i periodi freddi dell'anno.Lo schema è a vostra disposizione, chi ne fosse interessato mi può contattare al mio indirizzo mail.

Hello my dear friend i'm just back from Macugnaga for san Bernardo fair. It was wonderfull as always and two sunny days were just the best.
